There are countless “stylists” dressing famous singers & actors in Hollywood. However, did you ever notice how so many celebrity performers are criticized for looking awful at major events? I believe this happens because the stylists impose their own personal agenda upon these clients and fail to capture their best qualities – their essence, if you will. With an extensive background in theatrical performance, consulting performers, especially singers - is my specialty. Musicians are most concerned with expressing themselves through their music. They are talented artists who often do not know how to market themselves to get their music heard and appreciated. I help my clients to package themselves and create a public image so that they can keep performing. Exposure is one part of the process, but a performer’s comfort on stage and how they are perceived is their key to success. I work with artists to present themselves, not a character. It is not about wearing a costume; it is about making an impression through their art. Once again, we use wardrobe as a mouthpiece to help communicate the message, and when our work is done, the audience remembers the entire experience, and an impact is made.
